Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and absorbent. Completely remove old coats of varnish and opaque paint. Wood that has already turned grey should be sanded down to sound wood or pre-treated with LEINOS Anti-Greying Fluid 940. Allow pressure-impregnated wood to weather for one to two months and remove any salt efflorescence.
Processing
Coating. Do not apply at temperatures below 10 °C and stir well before use. Apply thinly and evenly. Avoid the formation of puddles.
Drying time
At 20°C and medium humidity dry after 6-8 hours, recoatable after 16-24 hours.
Consumption
Approx. 50-70 ml/m² per application; may vary depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Coverage: Approx. 13-23 m²/litre. Determine exact consumption on the object.
