Substrate and preparation
To achieve optimum results, please observe the technical data sheets for all products used. The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and absorbent. Pre-sand wooden surfaces with 100-150 grit in the direction of the grain.
Processing
Apply once with a thermopad or polishing machine or surface brush. Room and surface temperature above 15 °C.
A. Coating structure for untreated or absorbent substrates:
For hot application: Deep impregnation with a single application. Apply a thin layer of cold Hard Oil LF 248 to the floor using a flat brush. Then carefully work in hot with a Thermopad machine.
For cold application: Apply Hard Oil LF 248 1-2 times with an intermediate drying time of 24 hours. In floor areas, apply the product thinly with a flat brush. Then work in carefully with a polishing machine and white pad. If necessary, apply a second coat after an intermediate drying time of 24 hours. Consumption here only 3-5 g/m². Apply Hard Oil LF 248 drop by drop and polish in with a white pad.
In general: Before further treatment with a LEINOS wax product, it must be ensured that the primed substrate is well dried and no longer absorbent in order to avoid impoverishment of the subsequent films and thus inferior surfaces!
B. Renovation coating:
Clean and sand the substrate. Then apply one coat of Hard Oil Solvent-free 248. Waxed surfaces can be renovated with Hard Oil LF 248 if the wax has been completely removed beforehand.
Drying time
Dust-dry after 24 hours. Dry after 48 hours. In general: This system requires sufficient oxygen in the air for drying. Therefore, ensure good ventilation, e.g. with a fan in stagnant air, to avoid odours.
Consumption
Consumption per application: Surface brush 20-30 ml/m² Apply sparingly to avoid drying problems!
