Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry, sound, clean, free from grease and dust, and absorbent. Pre-sand wooden surfaces with 150–180 grit sandpaper in the direction of the grain.
Processing
Brushing, rolling, spraying, dipping. Room and surface temperature above 15 °C. Apply two evenly thin coats using a sealing roller, allowing a drying time of 6–8 hours between coats. Overlap must be avoided at all costs or removed. No intermediate sanding is necessary.
Waxed surfaces can be treated with LEINOS Hard Oil Universal 259, provided the wax has been completely removed beforehand.
Drying time
Dust-dry after approx. 6–8 hours. Can be walked on after approx. 16–24 hours. To ensure the paint dries properly and to prevent odours, we always recommend using a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation over the painted surface during the drying phase.
Consumption
Approx. 40–60 ml/m² per coat; this may vary depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Three coats are recommended.
