Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and absorbent. Pre-sand wooden surfaces with 150-180 grit in the direction of the grain.
Processing
Brushing, rolling, spraying, dipping. Room and surface temperature above 15 °C. Apply 3 evenly thin coats with a sealer roller, with a drying time of 6-8 hours between coats. It is essential to avoid or remove any excess. No intermediate sanding necessary.
Waxed surfaces can be reworked with LEINOS Hard Oil Universal 259 if the wax has been completely removed beforehand.
Drying time
Dust-dry after approx. 6-8 hours. Tread-resistant after approx. 16-24 hours. For reliable drying and to avoid odours, we always recommend the use of a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation on the surface during the drying phase.
Consumption
Approx. 40-60 ml/m² per coat, may vary depending on the absorbency of the substrate. 3 coats are recommended.
