LEINOS Mineral Plaster Primer is a pigmented, rough, silicate primer for interior use.
It is suitable as a primer for all subsequent wall coating systems on mineral substrates such as LEINOS silicate and lime paints, e.g. on lime plaster, cement plaster, sand-lime brick, cement, aerated concrete, brick, concrete, clay brick, clay plaster, Fermacell, plasterboard, as well as well-adhering old emulsion paint coats, etc. Mineral Plaster Primer has no blocking or diffusion-inhibiting effect.

Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry, firm, absorbent, clean and dust-free. Slightly chalky but still stable substrates should be coated once with LEINOS Silicate Primer 621 treat. Completely remove old, glossy latex, oil and varnish paint coats or treat with LEINOS Leaching cleaner 950 treat. If in doubt, apply a test coat.
Processing
Brush or roll on the product undiluted or diluted up to max. 10 % with clean water. Always stir well before use and during application.
Drying time
At 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity: approx. 6-12 hours. Subsequent coats after 24 hours drying time.
Consumption
1 litre is sufficient for approx. 5 m², depending on the structure and absorbency of the substrate.
