Substrate and preparation
The substrate must comply with DIN 18365, i.e. it must be level, dry and free of dust, dirt, grease and cracks. Pre-coat highly absorbent and sanding substrates with diluted adhesive. Mastic asphalt and anhydrite screed must be levelled. Substrates for cork parquet and linoleum must always be levelled. The cork tiles themselves must be acclimatised for at least 24 hours in the room to be covered (room temperature min. 18 °C, relative humidity max. 65 %) before laying in a closed package. Old floor coverings are not suitable as a substrate.

Processing
As supplied, the natural resin adhesive is applied evenly to the substrate with a B2/B3 notched trowel. The flooring is immediately laid into the adhesive bed and rubbed down evenly. Adhesive stains must be removed immediately with water. Cork parquet and linoleum must be re-rolled after 30-60 minutes using a multi-section floor roller. Suspended bays in the linoleum must be weighted down.

Consumption
Levelled floor 350-400 g/m² with B2 filler. Non-smoothed and highly absorbent floors as well as more structured flooring backs 400-450 g/m² with B3 filler.
