Processing
The substrate must be dry, clean, free of grease and dust and chemically neutral. Stir very thoroughly before use! Apply as thinly as possible with a brush, cloth, roller or sponge, spread or remove any excess after 15-20 minutes. Allow to dry well and apply a second coat without intermediate sanding. Spread this coat well and, if necessary, spread or remove excess material again. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate, a third or even fourth coat may be necessary. The surface must look well sealed without a noticeable layer having formed. Carry out a preliminary test! Important: Ensure optimum fresh air circulation during application and drying of the products!
Drying time
Dry and recoatable after 6-12 hours (18-22 °C/50-55 % relative humidity). Complete drying takes approx. 7-10 days. This system requires sufficient quantities of atmospheric oxygen for drying. For reliable drying and to avoid odour formation, we always recommend using a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation on the surface of the coating during the drying phase.
Consumption
20-50 ml/m² depending on the absorbency of the substrate for the first coat. Subsequent coats approx. 20 - 25 ml/m².
