Processing
The substrate must be dry, clean, free from grease and dust, and chemically neutral. Stir very thoroughly before use! Apply as thinly as possible using a brush, cloth, roller or sponge; spread or remove any excess after 15–20 minutes. Allow to dry thoroughly and apply a second coat without intermediate sanding. Spread this coat evenly and, if necessary, spread out or remove any excess again. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate, a third or even fourth coat may be necessary. The surface must appear well-sealed without any noticeable film having formed. Carry out a test application first! Important: Ensure there is optimal fresh air circulation during application and drying of the products!
Drying time
Dry and ready for further work after 6–12 hours (18–22 °C/50–55 per cent relative humidity). It takes approximately 7–10 days to dry thoroughly. This system requires sufficient amounts of atmospheric oxygen to dry. To ensure proper drying and to prevent odours, we always recommend using a fan to ensure adequate air circulation over the painted surface during the drying phase.
Consumption
20–50 ml/m² depending on the absorbency of the substrate for the first coat. Subsequent coats: approx. 20–25 ml/m².
