Substrate and preparation
All surfaces must be prepared professionally in accordance with VOB Part C DIN 18363 or the BFS data sheets. The substrate must be mineral, porous, wettable, clean, dry and load-bearing, as well as free of separating and efflorescence-free substances.
Processing
LEINOS Profi-Fixativ is ready to use as a primer and Thinner. "Glazing" of the substrate must be avoided at all costs. Unsafe substrates must be assessed individually and sample areas created for the coating structure.
Lime and cement plasters P1-P3:
Check for sintered skin and remove if necessary. Prime with LEINOS Profi-Fixativ. Allow air lime plasters to harden and always sample.
Clay:
Allow to dry on levelling coats, remove loose grain, apply several saturating coats of primer. Spread any excess evenly.
Old coatings and ETICS:
Clean thoroughly, allow to dry thoroughly, then prime.
Drying time
Process for at least 12 hours, not below +8 °C. Do not apply LEINOS Profi-Fixativ in direct sunlight or on heated substrates. Protect fresh coats from rain.
Consumption
Average coverage with one primer coat approx. 0.04 kg/m² on smooth, normally absorbent substrates. The exact consumption must be determined on a sample surface.
