A coat of LEINOS Clay Paint produces a matt finish and helps to regulate the humidity in the living space.
It is suitable for all absorbent, mineral-based substrates, coatings in drywall construction, on firmly adhered wallpaper and, in particular, for clay substrates in interior applications.
Substrate and preparation
The surface must be dry, solid, absorbent, clean and free of dust. If in doubt, carry out a test coat. Always stir thoroughly before use and whilst applying.
Processing
Always stir thoroughly before use and whilst applying. Apply the paint evenly using a roller, brush or flat brush, working it in all directions. One coat is usually sufficient. Ensure the room is well ventilated whilst applying the paint and whilst it is drying.
Sprayability:
Approximate guidelines (not binding): Airless: nozzles 0.38–0.58 mm, spray angle approx. 40°–50°, filter approx. 100–50 mesh.
Drying time
At 23 °C and 50 per cent relative humidity, approx. 6–12 hours.
Consumption
Consumption is approximately 150 ml per square metre.
