Exposure to the elements inevitably leads to greying of unprotected garden furniture. Although this does not reduce its durability, it is not a pretty sight either. With our Anti-Greying Fluid, you can give your garden furniture or other outdoor wood a real facelift in time for spring. The result is impressive and you will hardly be able to wait for the first warm days on your fresh garden chair.
Substrate and preparation
If possible, pre-wet the wood slightly at high temperatures.
Processing
Do not apply in direct sunlight as the Anti-Greying Fluid will otherwise dry too quickly. Shake briefly before use and apply undiluted to the wooden surfaces with a brush or cloth and leave to work for 15 minutes. If the garden furniture is particularly greying, the application time can be extended up to one hour. However, you should ensure that the wood remains moist for this time. The object must then be scrubbed thoroughly using a root brush and plenty of water. Rinse thoroughly with water to neutralise and remove dirt and then leave the wood to dry for 1-2 days. It is normal for the wood to be somewhat rough and leached out afterwards.
To bring the wood back to life now and protect it against future weathering, we recommend lightly sanding the wood in the final step and treating it with Teak- or Terrace Wood Oil to be carried out. The latter offers additional UV protection for the two shades reddish and brownish and thus prevents premature greying!
Consumption
100-125 ml/m² on smooth surfaces. Rough sawn or profiled wood surfaces can cause additional consumption.
