Solvent-free oil-wax coating for priming and finishing all absorbent substrates indoors, such as wood and cork floors, terracotta, stoneware tiles, neutral screed floors, wood-based panels such as Sterling OSB boards, etc. Also ideal for use on heavily used wooden surfaces.
For absorbent substrates such as terracotta, neutral screed floors, wood-based panels such as Sterling OSB boards, etc., a primer coat of LEINOS Hard Oil 240 recommended. Also ideal for colouring parquet and solid wood floors with a final colourless finish.

Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry (wood moisture content max. 14 %), clean and dust-free. The application temperature should preferably not be below 16 °C. Drying behaviour is delayed at lower temperatures. Final sanding of the surfaces with at least 120 grit or grid.
Processing
Apply Hardwax Oil LF evenly once with a double-sided trowel (approx. 15-30 ml/m², depending on the absorbency of the wood). Then pad thoroughly with a single disc polishing machine and green pad and polish the surface with a white pad. After 12 hours, apply a second coat of Hardwax Oil LF 291 Colourless or Hardwax Oil Colourless 290 apply a thin coat. For heavily used or particularly absorbent floors, apply a second coat sparingly the next day. Pad the surface with a white pad after 20-30 minutes. Ensure optimum fresh air circulation when applying and drying the products! Otherwise unpleasant odours are possible! Avoid layer formation at all costs! Please note: Floors must be laid without joints or, if necessary, levelled. If joints are present, oil may leak or noise may be generated when walking on the floor.
Drying time
The drying time is approx. 6-12 hours (20-23 °C / 50-55 % relative humidity). Complete drying and full load-bearing capacity after 7-10 days. For reliable drying and to avoid odours, we always recommend the use of a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation on the surface during the drying phase.
Consumption
15-30 ml/m²; coverage: approx. 30-60 m²/l depending on the substrate.
