Substrate and preparation
The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and must not be absorbent. Heat Liquid Wax in a water bath at low temperatures.
Processing
With a brush or cloth. Room and surface temperature above 15 °C.
A. Coating structure for untreated or absorbent substrates:
Prime with LEINOS Primer Oil 220 or LEINOS Hard Oil 240. Apply Liquid Wax 340 very thinly and evenly with a brush or non-linting cloth. After approx. 8-12 hours, polish in the direction of the fibres, either with a polishing brush or a soft cloth.
B. Coating for surfaces in need of renovation:
As under point A, for non-absorbent substrates without primer.
Drying time
Approx. 12-24 hours For reliable drying and to avoid odours, we always recommend using a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation on the surface of the paint during the drying phase.
Consumption
Approx. 35-50 ml/m² per application. Apply sparingly to avoid drying problems!
