Substrate and preparation
To achieve optimum results, please observe the technical data sheets for all products used. The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and must not be absorbent. We recommend priming with LEINOS Resin Lacquer Primer 810 and an intermediate sanding with 150/180 grit. For highly absorbent surfaces, a triple application with LEINOS Primer Oil 220, Resin Lacquer Primer 810 and top coat may be useful. For coloured coats, the Resin Lacquer Primer can be mixed with Finishing Lacquer at a ratio of 10:1. Scrape out any resin spots and LEINOS Thinner 200 clean. Resin build-up cannot be prevented with technical coating measures.
Processing
Product is ready to use. Stir carefully before use! Apply by brushing, rolling or spraying. Check compatibility and adhesion with the substrate by creating test areas. Protect surfaces from rain, wind, sunlight and condensation during application/drying. Sand lightly between the primer and intermediate coat after drying (P180). Wear a dust mask when sanding! If necessary, a second coat of Finishing Lacquer can be applied. The final gloss level is achieved 2-3 weeks after application.
Sprayability:
Non-binding guide values: Airless: nozzles 0.23-0.33 mm, spray angle: approx. 30°, filter approx. 180 meshes.
Colour shades
The Finishing Lacquer Mix can be tinted by machine according to NCS or RAL colour palettes (colour examples can be found in the Downloads area). All colour shades can be mixed with each other.
Drying time
Dust-dry after approx. 8 hours, touch-dry after approx. 12 hours. Can be sanded and painted over after 24 hours. This system requires sufficient quantities of atmospheric oxygen for drying. Therefore, ensure good ventilation. Drying may be significantly delayed at low temperatures, high humidity or if the maximum layer thickness is exceeded.
Consumption
Approx. 70-100 ml/m² depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
