Substrate and preparation
The product is ready for application. The substrate must be dry, solid, clean, free of grease and dust and only slightly absorbent.
Processing
Stir carefully before use! Brushing, rolling, spraying. Ambient and surface temperature above 15 °C. Check compatibility and adhesion with the substrate by creating test areas. Protect surfaces from rain, wind, sunlight and condensation during application/drying.
For highly absorbent substrates, e.g. rough sawn wood, open-pored wood, we recommend priming with LEINOS Primer Oil/Impregnation Primeran intermediate coat with LEINOS Resin Lacquer Primer, and a final coat with LEINOS Finishing Lacquer. Only apply an intermediate coat of LEINOS Resin Lacquer Primer if the primer has been applied with LEINOS Primer Oil/Impregnation Primer was applied. If the primer was applied with LEINOS Resin Lacquer Primer, omit the intermediate coat and start with the final coat.
A. Coating structure for untreated or absorbent substrates:
Stir before use. apply 1 sparing coat of LEINOS Resin Lacquer Primer 810 at temperatures above 15 °C. Subsequently can be painted with LEINOS White Lacquer 820, Finishing Lacquer 840 and Finishing Lacquer Mix 845 continue to be worked on.
B. Renovation on existing old coating:
Completely remove any old coats that are not intact. Then apply a coat of paint as described under A.
Intact old coats after good sanding and testing for compatibility immediately with LEINOS White Lacquer 820, Finishing Lacquer 840 and Finishing Lacquer Mix 845 revise.
Sprayability:
Non-binding guide values: Airless: nozzles approx. 0.23-0.33 mm, spray angle: approx. 30°, filter approx. 180 meshes.
Drying time
Dust-dry after approx. 3 hours. Dry, sandable and recoatable after 24 hours. This system requires sufficient quantities of atmospheric oxygen for drying. For reliable drying and to avoid odours, we always recommend the use of a fan to ensure sufficient air circulation on the surface during the drying phase.
Consumption
Approx. 60-80 ml/m² per coat. Apply sparingly to avoid drying problems!
Open-pored primer with good penetration properties for interior and exterior wood parts subject to low levels of stress.
Open-pored wood primer for subsequent coats of varnish and glaze. For exterior use: With film protection against fungal attack.
Highly opaque, glossy/silk-gloss White Lacquer for treating wood, metal and neutral stone indoors.
Top coat for the decorative finish/renovation coating of wood, metal or stoneware.
Mix variant of the LEINOS Finishing Lacquer Mix for tinting in colour mixing machines. Coloured, semi-gloss, for interior and exterior use.
